If you’re looking for more peace than party, head to this quiet and quaint beach bar nestled into Cala Xuclar. Surrounded by mountains and vegetation, this is Ibiza as it was 50 years ago with calm waters, Pina Coladas and fresh fish and salads.
They only accept cash.
The small bay Xuclar.
Pina Colda.
Amante isn’t somewhere you just stumble upon, etched into the cliffside, even the journey is an atmospheric build-up. Set within its own cove overlooking Sol Den Serra beach, it is a favourite spot for sunset dining. Head here during the summer months for an array of events from open-air cinema to morning yoga with a view.
Look out for their open air cinema screenings over summer.
Settle in underneath the raffia parasols, dance barefoot on the warmed decking and indulge in a haze of beach house rosé and buzz of bohemia. From beach yoga to Sunday sessions, you’ll be met with a breathtaking backdrop of sand and rolling waves. Beach House is the place to settle in on a hangover (trust us – we’ve selflessly tried and tested it).
Order a Chilli Coco Mojo.
This beachside spot is an open invitation for long rosé fuelled lunches (spot a theme?). With open-air bohemian styling El Chiringuito is the perfect pre-party warm up spot. The beach is simply a backdrop as you dance barefoot and eat aubergine and pine nut pasta…the perfect summer starter kit.
You have to travel there by taxi if you want to settle in and sample the rosé.
